Now you have gone with the times. You think about the environment and have removed all incandescent and halogen lamps and now there is neat LED lighting in your house. Perfect. Just connect to the old dimmer you're done. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that easily (yet). To dim LED lighting you need special LED dimmers. If you do not use this, the LED lighting may start to flash, do not dim properly and, in the worst case, may also simply break. And that's a waste of money, isn't it?

Dimming LED lighting with LED dimmers

The LED lighting can only be dimmed with LED dimmers. And there are more than enough of them, also at LEDshop Greenovation. If you want to create an ideal atmosphere for every occasion, it is advisable to dim the LED lighting. You want to be able to arrange your LED bulbs or LED spot well for when you have a birthday or a nice evening on the couch with a good film on TV? A LED dimmer is therefore essential and is available in various versions. From handy concealed cabinets to dimmer with wireless control. The technology around dimming the LED lighting is certainly not standing still.

Dimming multiple LED lamps is also possible

The power of the LED dimmer is very important and determines the number of LED lights that you want to dim. There is a rule for this that is often used: see the minimum and maximum power of your dimmer. Suppose a dimmer supports a minimum of 10 watts and a maximum of 100 watts of power. At least 2 LED lamps of 5 Watt and a maximum of 20 LED lamps of 5 Watt each can be connected. The number of LED lamps that can be connected can also differ per dimmer. You can see this on the basis of the manufacturer's information or you can test it yourself, but if you want to dim the LED lighting properly and you cannot figure out exactly what to do, you can of course always ask us for advice. LEDshop Groenovatie is always ready to answer questions about the use or purchase of our products.
